What happened to Number 1 in the second episode. The dog isn't around this time and he's a key part of the marketing. Picard's faithful companion just disappeared. He's not around to bark when the Stargazer doctor shows up and he's not around when the Daystrom scientist has tea. Picard decides to go back into space and doesn't seem to even think about his dog. When he tells the Tal Shiar guy he has to stay behind to handle the harvest, Picard doesn't say, "and also take good care of Number 1." They'll have to make a Short Trek to explain Number 1's disappearance from this episode.
Hey, I know that this isn't a big deal of a spoiler but could we not put spoilers in thread titles even if they are marked spoiler? Thanks to the weird time that the episodes go up a ton of Americans and Canadians can't watch the episodes until many hours after they go up.
Took the name out of the title............but seriously. He was probably chasing butterflies out in the vineyard........Get used to it because I don't think he'll be going off world.
Man! I was hoping they were going to change the title to Admiral Picard and Space Pup: A Star Trek Story for season two.
IIRC, it was mentioned in an interview somewhere that the dog that plays Number One is not the most well trained of canine actors, so they had to scale back on his scenes somewhat.
Yeah but did Picard take Barker's barking and had his dog spayed or neutered? The woods are fun for things other than a number two...
Picard trusted Dahj because of Number 1's approval. Otherwise maybe Picard would have called the police when a stranger showed up on his property and confessed to killing people and having a vision Picard. Without Number 1, the series could have been very different.
The Romulans ate him. Picard is going to have a fit when he finds out. "The line must be drawn hee-uh!" Kor
