Fenway Park is actually pretty cool. And I'm saying this as a Yankee fan.
You want to talk city dumps, though...just go to a game in Oakland.

Especially after the Raiders built that ass-ugly Mount Davis which completely destroyed any view of the outside - and which hasn't even been USED the last few years.
Oh well...now that the Raiders and Warriors have moved out, looks like the A's might finally have their chance to build their new ballpark. Hope springs eternal...

Look, you're encouraged to "improve yourself" as much as possible in the future and, yeah, you'll have all your material needs taken care of by the magic of replicator technology.
But SOMEONE still has to work at the Gap and if you aren't cut out for Starfleet, cybernetics or shucking crawdads at Sisko's, your options are limited.
