It's not hyperbole. She has had plenty of announcements and subsequent screeups, despite only 5 films having been released in her tenure, that one can't help but see a patternWhen did it happen with Rebels? The Force Awakens? Give the hyperbole a break
We were right. KK is incompetent

This situation is neither extraordinary or cause for alarm, regardless of what shit-stirrers like you, Grace Randolph, and others want to claim.

Making money on the SW logo alone. She botched 4 director appointments, two trilogues and one show. And that's only the stuff they publicly announcedWhen they stop making money.
No armchair quarterbacking is going to change that.
Yes. But every decision must be scrutinized by fans who know nothing about the business.By all accounts, the scripts that were finished were too similar to The Mandalorian, and so a decision was made to just abandon said scripts entirely.
This isn't a conflict of interest or a "bad-faith hiring" situation; it's a fairly routine change in direction.

No way she could have known??? Are you saying her ID can't get her on the set any time she wants? How does a movie get 80 percent done before the executive producer realizes it was not the film she ordered? The blame os on leadership here. And on every case regarding failed directors, trilogies and shows. There was absolutely no way that Kathleen Kennedy could've foreseen that any of this stuff would happen, so holding her accountable for it is disingenuous at best and insulting at worst.

except they should have been properly vetted before a single frame of film was shot, to know what the project would be. That's what a producer does at base. What is the tone of the film? the setting, the point.. all of that is the reason producers produce. Those directors wanted to go off and make a screw ball comedy I guess.Kathleen chose to give Lord and Miller numerous opportunities to change their obstinate behavior before firing them once it became absolutely crystal clear that they wouldn't listen and follow instructions no matter how many chances she gave them
Castigating her for the decision to allow them numerous "second chances" is a case of "standing on a hill throwing stones".
