URGENT - Wikipedia Star Trek entries being deleted

Who's to say the same people don't move on to do the same on the theme based wikis out there?

"These people" are doing so by consent of a poll conducted among users and contributors of Wikipedia who voted in favor of deleting this content. The lack of such polls on the theme based wikis is enough to stay the hand of "these people" from striking there.

But no, let's cry a little about poor Star Trek being persecuted. "These people" are a vile and sinful breed who are trying to silence Gene's Words forever. It's totally a crusade against Gene.

Wikipedia is supposed to be a community managed "Encyclopedia Britannica". The very specific nerdy stuff like pages on a specific ship is for places like Memory Alpha. I suspect one of the reason these things are removed is hardly anybody goes to them.
