Just browsing through IMDB for Star Trek Picard to see if there were any new updates and I noticed (may be old news)...

...that a child actor has been cast in to role of young Elnor. I guess that means we will get a flash back scene showing the characters backstory.

Also, Dahj has a mother played by Sumalee Montano, so she can't be a Borg queen or Lal

Also the dog has his own IMDB page listed as playing NO. 1

 

Na, the whole shit with control and the second half of season 2 if the most nonsensical Trek I've seen in years.

 

They hit “The Red Angel” and the season went over a cliff.

I wanted to do that for years, for all episodes in all shows, and then plot all that, but never had the time XD

That's really perfect. I can watch it on the big screen in a dark room with no distractions!
Anyone know if it's gonna be at the same time in all these Amazon countries all around the world? The ads in Germany only say 24th, but no exact time.

Let's hope they don't make it 11 forward, or even worse, the secondary deflector!

 

I did it back in the '90s too, but sadly that was several computers ago, and a different time in a Geocities World.

 

The dog (and his name was one of the first reveals), and the kid actor playing the role of young Elnor was pretty old news, as the same kid actor is also the one who inadvertently posted the image of his own cast jacket after the fact, which accidentally revealed the emblem and name of the new Ship "La Sirena" a while back.

Dahj's mother being played by Sumalee Montano is news to me. And does put an interesting twist on allot of speculation out there.

I think both actresses Briones and Montano both have Filipino descent.

 

People saw 3 episodes in Hollywood, and only 1 in London. But did they show 1 or 3 in Berlin? And were there any other (public) screenings aside from these 3 premiere events?

The cast and crew know about us (and our proclivity to dissect trailers for possible spoilers ). Twitter is currently having a heated debate over Seven's zipper pull!

 

She's most likely a human woman who was Dahj's wet nurse and died a long time ago, but not her actual mother...

 

They showed the first three episodes in Berlin, at least according to those who were there. And nope, no other screenings (at least none that Sir Patrick attended, can only speak from this viewpoint).

The cast apparently actually apologized for this during the London Q&A and said that the audience HAD been supposed to see the first three episodes, not just the first. Someone REALLY must have messed up something there, but whatever it was, they apparently resolved it for the Berlin premiere two days later.

What, they couldn’t stream the episodes?

 

Maybe someone had put up the CBS All Access versions of episodes 2 and 3 and all they got when they tried to access them in the UK was the dreaded "not available in your country" screen.

But seriously this would have been a easy problem to solve.

 

Maybe the theatre asked for a surcharge, but AmazonUK spent their ad budget on painted buses and Piccadilly dressings.
