The interior aesthetic owes a lot to the Rocinante.

I still hope the trailer is intentionally misleading and La Sirena is actually that Romulan Warbird!

It would have been so cool, but it doesn't seem likely.

This ship is going to have its own (civilian) registry number, right?

    I find that unlikely.
Could this be an outline of the La Sirena?

From the new cast pics. shows off the interior, not really new, but it really reads like a warehouse/hauler.
Especially the last two where you can now clearly see into the center cargo-well, and a whole second floor.
This is not a pretty ship LOL!,
Not for looks or comfort, Again I think that's the point, Picard is not meant to be at home here, but meant to look out of is element, and place. Dropping him in a new setting, dynamic.and new unfamiliar relationships.

They apparently also show Dahj and Dr. Jurti in what seems to be the lower cargo hold.

I love the interior of the La Sirena. I'm so glad that we have a series that's not about a Starfleet crew.

I like it. It kinda reminds me of the engine room of the NX-01, but without the warp core.

Honestly, beyond Lower Decks and whatever movies they are planning, I’ll happily not see another Starfleet starship-based show for a very, very long time.

It’s a massive universe, and we should be exploring as many different and unique parts of it as possible.

...Although of course every era warrants its name-drops and guest appearances. Starfleet is about stand-out heroes, after all: Kirk and Picard at certain stages of their careers were very public figures.

Loving the ship to bits. Although I hope to see thought put into the utility aspects. How does the cargo arrive and depart? Is that thing on the wall, with the Singh Pirates symbol in colorful light, in fact a transporter? Are there tractor beam cranes there? Does the ship have compartments for smuggling spice and passengers? Are the crew cabins as awkward as on the Serenity? The amenities as inconveniently spread out?

Considering the structurally demanding two-level main area of the set, I assume this to be a rather integrated set, a whole interior built as one piece - much like the S31 ship. So far, no real proof of a windshield... Might there be doors there, for direct outside access? Is the ship supposed to land?

Captain Rios understands the importance of staying hydrated during long shifts at the helm.

it strongly reminds me of Serenity. maybe we'll get to see the smuggler's ship type again, I always liked it. Rios also seems to smoke a cigar in the trailers, which is new for a ship captain.

I wonder if the claws are made of adamantium, or just bone.
