Hmmm. I did it. I voted "Excellent".

I have the gift of clairvoyance. Courtesy of Nostradamus. He predicted that in the year Two Thousand and Score, I'd be blown away by the premiere of a new series of adventures in the Heavens.

Had to google that a "score" is indeed "20". Old man Abe also used in some speed of his, but I couldn't recall how many years it stood for :)

Did Nostradamus say anything about the episode title?

He was trying to but everything he says sounds so 1500s-y.

He did, but it's in an obscure language called French. So no real way of translating it, sorry.

    No title yet :(
But Canadians will get it at 9pm. Means CBS will stream it at same time? Or earlier?

BTW, if their site thinks you’re in Canada you can watch all of short treks for free ;)

So ties make a comeback? Not sure if that makes sense. I think that might be to contemporary. Everything else looked cool.

Was/is the premiere today? Looking forward to the mix of paid shill gushing, genuine gushing and guarded critique that floats around the twitterverse until the review embargo is lifted.

It's now January 13th, 2020. At least here in Boston, posting from the Eastern Time Zone! T-minus 10 days.

Two days until I see this. God I hope it’s true that they’re showing 2-3 episodes, otherwise it’s going to be a long and expensive trip for 50 mins of Star Trek (totally worth it, though!).

I've just seen confirmation that it will only be the first episode that will be screened on Wednesday, followed by a Q&A. So, I won't have quite as many spoilers as I'd like, but can't complain!

Somewhat distressed that my train back to Wales is booked for 3 hours after the screening will apparently end, though! :D

Maybe it's todays press screening that shows 3 episodes. Such pre-release reviews usually address more than the pilot.

Is it the LA premier that has 3 episodes? I think I definitely read somewhere it was going to be 3 episodes...

Yeah, that's what I thought. I'm a bit disappointed but, hey, I'm still getting the opportunity to see even one episode, so I can't complain. I'm sure many would kill for the same opportunity, so I don't want it to seem like I'm ungrateful haha.

It's getting clear by some comments on twitter and in the media that some people have already seen the first episode. Presumably the review embargo has to be lifted by Wednesday though, because you don't want to have rando Brits who paid admission writing reviews before the professionals.

The cliffhanger/twist at the end of the first one will probably be interesting, and you get to see it first!

Ask about when we get to see the short trek, and if we'll get to see the post-episode review program with Wil Wheaton!
