No spoiler tags in here! Thought I made that clear in the opening post.

I have my reasons. I want to be able to separate who really doesn't like it from who's full of it.

They can lie just as easily (and more convincingly) after the episode is released....

I really am hoping that they hit it out of the park.

CBS says it takes place in 2399.

It isn’t 15 years after his retirement but 15 years after an incident related to his retirement.

The point is to beat the competition towards having the go to thread on "Picard." I should have acted faster but I salute The Old Mixer for following the ole, The Early Bird catches the worm wisdom. But I will be the one who wins the inevitable "Would Roddenberry approve of the show" thread that must be asked with each new Trek show.

What the heck does "TK" stand for in "Title TK"? I've been here forever, so when I think of TK, I think of something very in particular. But I don't think that's it. ;)

Tiberious Kirk. I think we have a surprise guess character they have been able to hide from us in the first episode.:)

It's publishing-ese for "to come". Placed as dummy text for text that's...to come.

It ticks me off every 10 years. All the "blank of the decade" lists to end 2019 (not 2020), really chap my @ss.

    So glad that is over.

Yes, I get any 10 year span can be a decade.

Do they know that, meaning they've seen it, or do they just speculate?

I get it. But when I talk about the "The Eighties", 1980-1989 works better than 1981-1990. There's no "Eighty" in 1990. And I call 2020 the first year of "The (Twenty) Twenties" only because I'm glad to be in a decade with a normal sounding name again. "The Aughts" and "The Tens" didn't do it for me.

Yes. But I didn't think they'd be out this soon.
