Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

Who was the other actress with dark hair walking in front of Picard? Not the elf with the bow and arrow if we're doing elf comparisons haha.

That's Isa Briones as Dahj, she's the woman that comes to Picard looking for help, which is what appears to set off the whole series. I'm surprised you don't recognize her, she's been in tons of footage in all of the trailers we've gotten so far.

Which reminds me of the Voyager episode where they crashed in ice and the Doctor was casually carving up seven's head he's holding part of her face and it acts as one solid piece when it should be goopy flesh
IIRC that was mostly solid skull bone he was holding

I'll have to look in HD on my tape it looked like part of a face with an eye still attached that's why I found it odd.

The eye is intact cause it's artificial.

BTW, this future also had the AGT commbadge, so it's been the same in 4 different futures!

All the trailers are misleading, the show is actually about House Picard and House Janeway fighting for the Borg throne.

Game of Thrones in SPACE!!!! :D

P and J should fight like this:

Thank you that looks more clear then what I have.

Oh hell if they made that show I'd watch that.

Anybody have any plans for the premiere? Me and my brother and his girlfriend are going to be watching on January 23rd at their place. My brother went to bartending school, so he's making us Romulan Ale and Aldebaran Whiskey for the occasion. And I'm gonna be wearing my custom 2399 Starfleet Uniform! Note the uniform is just a DS9 command uniform with a black turtleneck instead of a purple collar, and with updated cardboard comm badge and rank pips (I'm either a Captain or Four-Star Admiral, take your pick :D )

Not sure when exactly Amazon will be releasing the episodes so I'll most likely be watching them on Sundays so my plans for the premiere are to avoid spoilers over the weekend. :)

Will Amazon be releasing them like they did Jack Ryan (single shot) or more like regular TV (weekly)?

I've never had to avoid spoilers for a tv show before. How do people usually deal with it on social media, when new episodes are coming out every week? How long do people usually put up spoiler warnings for after each episode comes out?

The show premieres on Amazon Prime January 24th (it premieres on CBS All Access January 23rd).

I watch episodes of Discovery as soon I find out they're up and am able to watch. I drop everything else. I'm that much of a fan of it. The same is going to be the case with Picard. But...

... with other shows I watch, I just go online and if I read spoilers, I read spoilers. When I'm watching a show, I'm most anticipating the performances and the direction. I'm a terrible example to go with, now that I think about it...

Spoiler warnings, at least here, are put up the first two weeks an episode is out in the series' forum and six months everywhere else.

I just wish it wasn't on CBS all access, if it was on regular TV or another streaming service in the US I might watch it but its not worth the money to watch one show for me
