Finally home. Bone tired. Sitting on the couch with Junior, running a few loads of laundry through the machines. Hubby greeted me with a few freshly baked snickerdoodles. Take note, spouses--THAT is how to greet someone after a long drive.

Soooo tired. We were supposed to go to our friends ' place for their NYE party, but the wife might have the flu so they have tentatively cancelled. I kinda don't mind because hubby and I could both use a quiet day off.

BTW....For anyone who thinks going to Fredricksburg TX at Christmas time, and on a weekend, is a good idea, let me DISSUADE you. Everyone and their Aunt Martha will be there. It's a lovely place but God DAMN, it was crowded. There's not enough parking, not enough places to eat and the old street sidewalks get jammed up all day. It's not just crowded; it's Disneyland-crowded. I would recommend going in spring or fall but not Christmas.
