Teaser from December:
I don't see anything new in the December teaser. Where's this scene with the blond girl?
I haven't seen yesterday's TV Spot uploaded anywhere yet. I'm still looking...I don't see anything new in the December teaser. Where's this scene with the blond girl?
I've found it. Enjoy!
Consensus is that it is a Romulan Starfleet Ensign.Thank you for sharing. I had not come across this one yet.
I get a Star Trek/Nero vibe from the Romulans manhandling Picard near the end.
Nice to see a non-Human Starfleet officer: the Vulcan operations officer in particular. I don't know what material is being used to sow the uniforms but visually they remind me more of the fan-made costumes we wear at the DST cons than uniforms worn in the 2370s. (I get the same feeling when looking at Data's collar in the painting-in-the-vineyard scene). Hopefully, that impression evaporates when we get to see the episodes instead of just trailers.

That's Riker and Troi's daughter. Presumably she was playing when Picard and co. ran across her, and she's leading them to the house (followed by the scene from the previous trailer where she calls out to Riker). The girl with Picard and Dahj looks like it's this actress who is listed on IMDB as playing a character named Kestra:

Ooh that’s cool. Wait, why is she blond? That's Riker and Troi's daughter. Presumably she was playing when Picard and co. ran across her, and she's leading them to the house (followed by the scene from the previous trailer where she calls out to Riker).
Wait, how do you know that? Or speculate that, at least? That's Riker and Troi's daughter. Presumably she was playing when Picard and co. ran across her, and she's leading them to the house (followed by the scene from the previous trailer where she calls out to Riker).

It's been widely reported (speculated) here that the character Kestra in Picard is their daughter.
Soooo, why is she blond?
That's too easy an explanation, definitely not worthy of TV-MA showThe blonde must've been recessive in her family.
I say we give him a medal.I can't believe the amount of time I put into re-watching TNG over the last two months. Basically, whenever I wasn't working or sleeping or shopping, I was watching it. Now I have to get caught up on other stuff I put off.
If I didn't cram it all in now, I never would've. So I made myself live and breath TNG. I feel like I just pulled a Harve Bennett, when he watched all of TOS before diving into TWOK. He only saw TOS sporadically before and -- after 1996 anyway -- I only saw TNG sporadically. When I have the time, I'll have to post about everything I got out of it.
But wow. My advice to other people is to never do such an extreme binge like that in such a short amount of time.
