Baby Yoda is to big to be limited to tv forever.
I hope they blow Baby Yoda out an airlock, ASAP. It was cute for a while, now it's grating.

It's still cute...
Didn't you see TLJ. The force allows you to fly through space now and seeing him flying space would be beyond cute. Your attempt to kill Baby Yoda would only make him 10 times more adorable. Everyone knows if you want to kill Baby Yoda just give him a Twitter account and wait. JasonI hope they blow Baby Yoda out an airlock, ASAP. It was cute for a while, now it's grating.
You can strike me down and I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.Didn't you see TLJ. I think she is gone and might also be why the Game of Thrones guys left and Johnson's trilogy was placed in enternal limbo. This was my prediction after Solo bombed. Only I never expected to happen because I felt the movies would rebound especially with Abrams back. I also think The Mandolorian hurt it. Better product but still filled with nostiga. Reminds me of something someone once said about Trek. Why would people go pay to see something at the movies they can get for free on tv. MCU better watch out because their more unknown movies might loose money due to their tv shows. Natually in ever scenario Disney still gets our money because their lawyers pulled of a very sweet deal with Satan back in the day. JasonIf this does underperform the way people are predicting I could maybe see it effecting Kennedy. One below expectations performance isn't that big of a deal, but when you get two in a row, then things do start to look bad.
Even if they don't fire her, I could see them bringing in someone new to oversee the creative side while they leave her to handle the business side.
Favreau and/or Filoni sound like great choices to me.

LOL - yeah, something GUARANTEED to do 1 Billion+ at the Box Office is dead. Sorry. Yeah, STAR WARS ain't the utter cash cow it used to be, but film wise, it's FAR from dead.Yeah the movies are dead after this one. I’m looking forward to the obi wan show. Disney really killed the movie franchise for good. Too bad.
Disney isn't going to permanently end making STAR WARS feature films. They just won't be making one every year.
Yep -- let things simmer for a bit, and re-create the high anticipation that came with the lead up to TFA. I guarantee that Rey, Poe, and Finn will be back leading a new group of people against a new thread ("The Best Order", "The New Order", whatever). Nostalgia sells, and this trilogy created a whole new audience to crave it.
Indeed.Just as long as the new threat's not the Vong, I don't care.
Of course it isn't going to die but it is safe to say the Kennedy era is proably over. Proably be in a standing pattern until the final year of contract runs while expecting the tv stuff carry the load till then. If not careful it could go the way of the Terminator franchise if the next set of movies fail. JasonLOL - yeah, something GUARANTEED to do 1 Billion+ at the Box Office is dead. Sorry. The MCU has had movies and TV shows going at the same time for quite a while and it hasn't effected the movies yet, I don't see that changing.MCU better watch out because their more unknown movies might loose money due to their tv shows. No, they let it be one by just telling the same story over and over instead of expanding. There are about EIGHT Rocky movies, and there's no way that's a more expansive concept than Terminator.Terminator was a pretty limited concept from the get-go.
I agree but I was thinking in terms of being a older franchise. I think with SW it has been hurt by the fact it no longer has a montoply on big budget spectle. The MCU and other comic books surpased it. Even the Kelvinverse Trek movies where better at being SW than SW. Plus I think it is unknown how much people are interested in anything not connected to the classic stuff though maybe The Mandolorian proves people just aren't into Rey,Finn and Poe. Which was a issue in the prequels. I would argue these new tv characters especially Baby Yoda are the first to truly capture people's hearts and minds since Luke,Leia,Han,Vadar,Chewie and the droids. People have been waiting for Mando and Baby Yoda for almost 40 years and not ven knowing it. Well except those who loved the Clone Wars cartoon. Everything even the MCU eventually ends and it can happen fast and be unexpected. Just look how fast people turned on Game of Thrones. JasonThe MCU has had movies and TV shows going at the same time for quite a while and it hasn't effected the movies yet, I don't see that changing.
Its eighth and intentionally last season?Just look how fast people turned on Game of Thrones.
