1/350 REFIT BUILD

If I were cynically skeptical, I'd say the kitchen photo was the "processed" shot.

Seriously, I don't I've ever seen anyone stage the lighting so "on point", especially since the kit is only about a third the size of the filming miniature. Even the production had to "fake" some of the spotlights, using dental mirrors to reflect external lighting devices onto the model. But this is all "internal", "self contained"?! Shoot, even if you employed some of those same "tricks", it's stunningly accurate!

Again, Many Thanks!
Yes, the model is ALL internally lit. No dental mirrors allowed!!
The photo was taken in my kitchen Last night...Miserable outside, bored out of my mind.

Many thanks!

Would you happen to be at liberty to divulge what paints you used for the pearlescent finish?

I think I did...No? First page somewhere...
You mention the colors:
The Star Trek the motion picture paint scheme. Five colors(Fouriredescent Gold,Blue,Green and Red) Plus the base color white.
...but I was hoping more for brand name/color bottle numbers, to get the exact correct look for my 350 (whenever I can get around to actually building it).

Another bit of test footage using my 1/350 Enterprise Refit...

Cheezits! I love that! I never thought a store-bought plastic model could look so cinematic.
