- The Flash hour (hour three) ends on a cliffhanger to keep us anxious until hour four in January.
- The logo for the crossover that has pictures of characters inside of the letters now has a picture of Oliver. Previously it wasn't allowed due to a legal issue of which a loophole was discovered. Guggenheim will provide more details once Crisis has aired.

One of the following three characters will appear: Hawks, The Ray, Vixen (although which Vixen was not clarified).

It will be clear that the Legends of Tomorrow hour occurs before the Legends season premiere.
An interesting idea, but Gustin doesn't really match Wally for me, and he would have had to have been written differently. Barry should never have been killed in the first place. Too important a character. I'm fine with his return.
I think that's a little too ambitious. But it would make an interesting crossover in the future.
I would love to see some surprises that were shot. They are taking on some major things here, and they should make sure that they don't upset people by shitting on classic properties. Like what they did with Flash90 last year.
But that's a learning experience. Writers that can learn from mistakes only get better.
I would not count on it. There's no official connection between the two productions, so that would be a stretch at best.

EW has posted an interview with Marc Guggenheim about Crisis on Infinite Earths.
He does talk about hoping their ending will live up to the big status quo changing ending of the original comic. So it sounds like there will be some pretty big changes coming at the end of it.
They did pick some story points from the comic that they worked into their version.
One of the things that Guggenheim liked about this was being able to develop the relationship between Kate and Kara, which he compares to the relationship we've seen between Barry and Oliver in earlier crossovers.
Sarah gets the most focus of any of the Legends because of her connection to Oliver.
We will get at least one scene of Brandon Routh's Superman interacting with Brandon Routh's Atom.

This. Absolutely this. Wally's run was fantastic. Fuck Barry Allen.
When the show first started, I felt Eddie Thawne was a more comics-accurate Barry Allen than Gustin's character. I had my fingers crossed for a "switched at birth" Malcolm Thawne adapation. They can't even get Barry right in any show or movie. Its always this lame Wally-clone with brown hair, but named Barry. They even gave "Barry" a Linda Park (in name only) back in Season 1. I have no idea what they were even thinking.
The article also says the story is driven less by "fixing" continuity snarls as in the original and thus can focus more on the characters. So I expect the changes will be major character transitions like in previous crossovers (e.g. the way Crisis on Earth-X gave us two weddings and a funeral, the introduction of Leo Snart, etc.), or setup for future storylines.
The end of Oliver Queen's journey is certainly one major change, and there's the addition of Ryan Choi. They also said it sets Sara's arc for season 5 of Legends into motion. They're also introducing Clark & Lois's son, which could set up their spinoff. We may see something that sets up the Mia/Canaries spinoff as well. Kate meeting a version of Bruce, or connecting with the wider hero community, could help inform her storyline going forward.
It's too bad it's only in the crossovers that they really get to play with Sara and Oliver's shared history. This is their last chance to do that, so I hope they make the most of it.
Before Legends became a thing, I was hoping (in the style of their Batman cloning at the time) they would ressurect Sara to do a Red Hood storyline, and put Felicity in the chair as Oracle. Before that, I wanted Sara to just be the primary black canary / oliver's love story, since at one point they had dropped a tidbit about Sara having a crush on Oliver first, and Laurel getting with him to spite her. It seemed like they were going to retcon her in as the destined Black Canary, and I thought she was perfect in the role. This was all before the current incarnation of Sara and her personality really existed.
I hope not. Not that it would force constant interactions, but I would not want to see stronger shows brought down by weaker productions.
I'm expecting the main show's to be merged onto one Earth, but for new shows and new Earth's to still be found and explored in a still-existing multiverse.
Meh. I like the fact Earth-1 got heroes without Superman as the template while still having a Superman influenced universe with Earth-38. Still don’t see any compelling reason for a merging. I know it can be done. Can’t imagine any reason why it ought to be done.
