Feline Follies

My cat does not attack our tree. Is my cat normal? I hear so much stories of cats attacking or bothering the trees in so many ways. Our could care less. Am I missing some important cat moments because of this? My mom was looking forward to me having to say NO leave the tree alone like she had to with her cat. But my as I said could care less! Anyone else have a cat that is not into bothering trees or have a funny story about a cat bothering them?

You should probably just consider yourself lucky! :) My cat always tries to climb into the tree and knocks the ornaments off. I always have to put the breakable ones up near the top for safety.

^He's so handsome!

Thank you! I love him to bits; it's ridiculous how much I love him.

Junior has never attacked the Xmas tree. He has occasionally batted at one or two of the small plastic ornaments I hang on the bottom branches but that's about it. My previous cat Max used to sit under it all of December; it was his own personal fort. But neither cat ever tried to attack or climb it.

I spent a small fortune at the vet to figure out why my cat wasn't eating (even if he's just being picky, he'll still gladly take a bite of steak or chicken but this time he wasn't eating period) only to be told nothing's wrong with him. Now he's eating again. Next time I'll just have to wait him out.

And how was your Monday?

Glad he’s ok- sometimes peace of mind is priceless.
