Well, audiences aren't in uproar over the apparent overpowered Baby Yoda in "The Mandalorian". Fans haven't clamoured to point out that he is capable of feats far beyond those of his predecessors and the fanbase is completely united over how oocchy coochy coot he is. Could this be the end of a multi billion dollar franchise already reeling from the seven figure profits it has made after previous controversies? Should Disney have realised by now that there's no future in pandering to small babies who want to see themselves on screen?
Baby Yoda is totally a Saby Sue, I mean what the fuck? I was promised a show called the Mandalorian about a badass bounty hunter doing badass bounty hunting things, and instead he's had the spotlight stolen by this preening menace. Star Wars is about the White Man and always has been. But no, now in this era of progressive wokeness, Kathleen Kennedy and her ilk are pushing a political agenda which serves no purpose other than to keep the White Man down. The movies are girls movies now, the Mandalorian isn't even played by a White Man, though he has the decency to keep his armour on to at least allow us to pretend he could be representing us. But now the Saby Sue Baby Yoda is stealing the spotlight and commandeering all the memes, and for what purpose? Pandering to Yoda-kind and giving yet another minority unnecessary representation. This is a White Man's world, everyone else just lives in it. But then, what else should we have expected now that control of the Star Wars franchise has been turned over to a fucking secretary? (Please realize this post is a joke)
He's aided The Mandalorean once (and passed out for a significant period after doing it. In the 3rd episode sequence with EVERY Bounty Hunter in the city - he did nothing. In the 4th episode - no help with the ground battle or the Imperial Walker; and he didn't know the assassin was about to shoot him for the bounty. ^^^ So, yeah, not seeing the 'Mary Sue' aspect of the character at all here.

How did the Mandolorian all of a sudden become such a proficient bounty hunter? We see him using all these gadgets like Batman yet there has been no explanation of how he learned to use each and every gadget in his arsenal. What a Mando Sue...(sarcasm) On second thought,I don't need a movie bogged down with pointless exposition for every little thing. Then it becomes Casino in space.
That's nice, but read the title. We're discussing whether or not Baby Yoda is a Saby Sue (which he totally is, because reasons) not a Mary Sue. You want to discuss Mary Sues, I'm sure there's a Rey thread around here somewhere. You didn't like Canto Bight?

(Actually I reported the title myself and probably asked for this in my wry and whimsical wording) Interesting to see how few people are coming forth to declare that the little cootsy pie is a threat to good story telling, so on and so forth. Perhaps he's a rebirth archetype? Yoda the White? That might explain it.
