Rian Johnson trilogy canceled

I also don't go around falsely insulting people
"Kathleen Kennedy is a glorified secretary" ring a bell? Both hugely sexist and falsely insulting someone. And that's just the tip of the iceberg on things you've said.

You clearly have a massive chip on your shoulder about women (and minorities) in positions of power or leading roles, and consider it part of some terrible agenda. Just because you've managed to also be self-deluded enough not to recognize your constant obsessive behavior over these issues doesn't make them untrue. If several dozen people are all telling you the same thing, then maybe you ought to at least consider it and reexamine your own behavior and the way you come off here.

You've been driving this "forced diversity" crusade ever since you shat all over that Marvel thread months ago and you've never given up since, derailing and getting several threads shut down. Enough already. We get it. You've made your terrible and outdated and bigoted point and you're not winning over hearts and minds, so maybe it's time to drop it or if you insist on continuing take your act over to 4chan or something where you can commiserate with the bitter dudebros.

Calling her a glorified secretary is not sexist. I was just explaining what she actually does and it would have been the same no matter who was there and what their gender was. I was describing what they did on those films I was speaking nothing about the person's sex

Oh by the way did you hear that Elizabeth Banks is doing an invisible woman movie they just announced I'm sure she'll blame men nobody goes to see that movie

I just looked at this, and that isn't what she said.

"Look, people have to buy tickets to this movie, too. This movie has to make money. If this movie doesn’t make money it reinforces a stereotype in Hollywood that men don’t go see women do action movies," she said.

It isn't blaming men. It is the pure fact that they have to figure out a way to draw those dollars in.

if it was a guy who was an executive producer.. which most people don't even know what that means.. and he was just scheduling, arranging, checking the budgets and informing investors.. how would be a glorified secretary as well.. in both cases it';s hyperbole not sexist.. to say that she had no creative input into the storytelling of those films during her tenure with Spielberg

but if it makes you feel good to not actually address the issue and call me a sexist instead.. fine

No answer as to what Elizabeth Banks has to do with this discussion?

it's pretty obvious.. she sold her CA movie on the idea of women in movies.. not the story, or the characters. and then she blamed men when the movie didn't do so well..

now she is directing the invisible woman

EPS oversee the business end of the film. A much bigger job than a secretary. But you know this. We’ve been over this. Again and again and again. Get it through your skull.

sure there is more to it.. i was partly speaking hyperbolically

but my point is the films she worked on were not great at all because of her role.. she was not a creative, she did not make them great.

It sounds like she is a leader, at least according to Steven Spielberg...

“Basically, I was a little bit of a hothead, impatient, and I would be hard on my crew — loving to my cast but tough on my crew,” Spielberg told THR. “And about 15 days into shooting ‘E.T.,’ she pulled me into her office and sat me down in a chair and gave me the bollocking of my life. Because she did not like the way I was talking to the crew. She didn’t care for my impatience, she didn’t care for my sharpness. She said, ‘This is unacceptable behavior,’ and I hadn’t heard that since a teacher in school or my own mom — and that was a big shift in my life. I became mindful because somebody I trusted and respected had called me out.

I love this argument-because it was successful businesswise that must me that she didn't do that...

The nonsensical diatribe is becoming more and more difficult to understand.
