I remember reading a story about one of the big summer blockbusters where they were still working on the CGI effect just a few days before it was supposed to come out.
As much as I'm talking about this, I can almost guarantee it's not going to bother me once I'm watching the actual show. It's just easier to focus on these kind of little nitpicks in a short trailer, where I'm focused as I am during the actual show.
The last dream I had involving my high school, I was hiding from zombies in the gym with a blond woman I seemed to know, and we were trying to convince a group of strangers to let us join them.The last time I can remember dreaming about High School, I think it involved half the football team chasing me with nothing but their pads on and that was while I was still in High School.
I can't remember if I let them catch me or not.
It's by and large a great photoshop but it does look like his head is almost floating on the body, which seems slightly misproportioned... that and it looks like he just ate a partially decomposed banana while watching a daytime emmy-winning episode of "Barney the Dinosaur".
They got a bit better with de-aging in latter movies:
That or they got Tom Hardy to come back.

Uh..why would they de-age him? Picard is supposed to be in his 90s in this..20 years older then Stewart...It's in Progress
I'm guessing to match the TNG uniform he's wearing.
It's his dream. No need to de-age Picard.
Uh......Why do you take it so seriously? it's a damn Joke! golden opportunity to see what he might look like as a De-aged Picard, no one said anything about doing it for the actual show
Picard is dreaming about being digitally de-aged by Data, the digital artist.
Brent Spiner confirmed at Destination Star Trek that Data's look was not finished in the trailer. He will look better in the actual series (starts at 14:23):

Because it’s basically the same thing, improved by an experienced VFX artist who worked on much of Star Trek? If the makeup isn’t ready for prime time, if it looks like a Hulk-to-Banner transformation stage from Season 1, just cut it down to a tease; no need to rush anything.
