Spoilers Batwoman - Season 1

It is the Batcave ;)

Why would you think she was working "an angle" and didn't do it for exactly the reason she said she did?

Because she seems to have secrets behind secrets, since Alice's interest in Hamilton Dynamics seems deeper than the weapon she wanted Catherine to give her. It makes me wonder if she's supplied Alice with company weapons in the past (which would implicate Catherine in any crimes committed with said weapons unless her being coerced could be proven), but whatever the case may be, she (Catherine) seems like she's still not being completely honest.

I finally got caught up today, and I enjoyed the last couple episodes.
Down, Down, Down: I liked the fact that it was Elliot showing and going after Bruce that finally motivated her to change the suit. We were heading that way with people thinking she was Batman, but I thought that was a good idea the final motivation.
I'm a big fan of Revenge, so I got a kick out of seeing Gabriel Mann as Tommy Elliot.
With all of Batman's contingencies inside of contingencies, it makes sense he'd have a weapon to take himself out.
Who Are You:
Magpie was a pretty fun one off villain, and the fight scenes with her were a bit better than some of the ones from earlier episodes. Still not up to the level of some of the other Arrowverse shows, but at least better than the ones in first episode.
I was disappointed to see Kate and Reagan break up already, I was hoping to get a few more episodes of them together. But it was kind of nice to see Kate wasn't perfect at covering her tracks.
The whole Batarang thing was another nice way to show her still growing into the Batwoman role, without making her totally incompetent.
I'm curious what role Catherine has played in Alice's life, I really think there's more to it than what she told Jacob. The only reason she told him what she did is because Alice pretty much forced her hand.
Tomorrow's episode is going to explore at least some of what happened to Beth/Alice between the accident and the present. Rachel Skarsten, who plays Alice, says she was horrified when she found out what happened and thinks fans will be too.

I want hardcopy of that map.
It looks pretty much like the 'No Man's Land' map of Gotham that's more or less been the basis for several similar graphics over the years (I think even the Nolan films used it.)

That actually makes me wonder: wouldn't it be fun if at some point down the line they do a full on 'No Man's Land' adaptation for the show and have it last the whole season?

Based on what we saw of her finding her way into that basement, I'm going to guess it's something along the lines of "she was raised by a serial killer."

I'm thinking it's some how connected to Catherine-Hamilton Kane, there seems to be more going on with her than just faking Beth/Alice's death.

They made some modifications to it as they went through the three movies, changing the neighbourhood names, street layouts and parkland locations - twice! - as well as adding mainland shorelines to the east of the core islands for the third movie...but they've kept Eliot Brown's outlines for the core islands themselves.

By the by, going by the scale that Brown used for his map, it looks like the core islands are at least twice as wide as Manhattan. Considering how many different kinds of urban landscape fit into Manhattan after 500 years of post-EuroContact habitation, and that Gotham is supposed to be about as old as either NYC or Metropolis...

As we saw in last year's Elseworlds crossover, Batwoman exists on Earth-1, the same as Green Arrow, the Flash, and the Legends.

I don't think so.

I’m starting to watch the arrowverse shows. So far so good. Batwoman will have to be last. I’m watching them all in order on my Netflix. Too bad arrow is going out soon.
