What are you doing at this moment?

I had to do it to get rid of "tons of ice" that blocks the refrigerator. I'm almost done..... It's about time, I want to get my food back into the freezer....

I'm listening to my son read off a list of fishing lures available from online sources (many from China). Our favorite one is described as purple, with scarlet lines, and flecks of green. It's called "Zombie Placenta". So....zombies are born and not made? And they are good for fish bait. Good to know for when the apocalypse is upon us.

I'm giggling :)
A group of young men encountered the local beaver last night when he was busy carrying a heavy branch across a lively street. They spontaneousely stopped, held up the traffic and lent the rodent a hand.
I just discovered the video here: https://www.br.de/nachrichten/bayern/biber-video-aus-deggendorf-sorgt-fuer-lacher,RgHqwW4 (click on the > symbol to the left of the beaver pic on top of the page)
Cool action, both by the 5 guys and by the strong-nerved beaver :D

I’m at a Sleater Kinney concert.

At one point the lead singer mentioned “Boston is such a friendly city”.

The audience for a moment looked at each other in bemusement.

Yeah, us Bostonians are a self aware bunch.

I'm having lunch break (and a chicken salad sandwich).
My mom turns 80 by the end of next week and I had planned to invite her to a traditional British afternoon tea at Claridge's or the Savoy in London but she's scared of flying. So instead I'll organize a stylish tea at home. Atm I am trying out traditional British sandwich recipes. I found not so traditional but awesome ones I'll try out tomorrow: https://www.ohhowcivilized.com/tea-sandwich-radish-lemon-butter/

Does anyone happen to know if (and where) there are CDs with soft piano music available? The sort you have as background music in good hotels and restaurants? I believe it is called lounge music. I haven't played in 30 years and if I tried now I fear I'd very likely be disinherited ;)

Wearing my Supernatural T-shirt and Supernatural necklace, while watching a Supernatural marathon on TNT.

Not that I'm obsessed or anything..... :shifty:

Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween.

Only two small groups of kids rang my doorbell today... I gave them some of the brownies I bought for the occasion. It seems more appropriate than the madeleines I gave out last year.

Watching a documentary on octopuses while I wait for trick-or-treaters. And keeping an eye out for my husband who is turning off the porch light when I'm not paying attention, He wants all the candy bars for himself (like he can't buy his own at any time).

Sitting and waiting for trick or treaters. We are usually swamped but hardly anyone has come. I guess it's because it's unusually cold out.

Watching Cornall play Princeton, Cornell keeps fumbling the ball. We've turned it into a drinking game, three shots in so far.

The only thing I can think of to recommend is have you tried Amazon? Even if they don't have lounge music on CD they might have something as a digital download (which is cheaper) which you can then burn to your CD-Rs.

Oh, what I'm doing right now? Giving unsolicited advice that might not be helpful.
