Neither have I, but I didn't need to to know the fanbase was not happy, nor was the SW fanbase happy with the hiring.

Also, money. Netflix has to up its game with streaming services becoming more competitive. SW isn't the only game in town.

The number of reasons they chose to go to Netflix are varied, and not one has to do with Kennedy. But, let the conspiracy theories flow.

i liked your post because your're right about the particular point.. they offered more money.

There was a time when it was a dream to work on SW. But if you read the B & W statement, tehy credit George Lucas for the vision.. a subtle way of throwing shade back at disney not unlike Iger throwing shade at Lucas

Maybe Disney wants Star Wars to mimic Star Trek at this point and not do movies at all anymore, just make everything a streaming show.

In Kathleen Kennedy's short tenure at Lucasfilm, having put out just 4 projects so far, has seen them announce with great fanfare, and subsequently lose 4 sets of filmmakers (Colin Trevorrow, Josh Trank, Lord & Miller and now Benioff & Weiss) and drama with Gareth Edwards.

and

Kennedy's inability to properly vet and make 100% sure she and the filmmakers are on the same page is a failure of her most important responsibility as head of the company. She also has some big wins for sure, but this is TROUBLING.
