My 15 year old male has lost most of his teeth, despite my brushing them for years. Those dental procedures the vets do are just expensive, not necessarily effective. I just slowed down the loss. Still, might be something to think about doing.
Junior got a teeth & gum cleaning, as well as getting the growth cut off. It was definitely NOT cheap. But they also gave me a toothbrush and cat-toothpaste. Not sure if Junior will go for it but after he's better, I might give it a go.
Junior in his plastic poncho. It's some type of heavy paper coated with plastic and it makes a terrible racket when he rubs against something. He keeps startling himself with the noise. Poor thing has to keep it on for 10 days.
Poor guy! Normally, he looks so regal. Here, he seems just, hmm, grumpily resigned. Has he fought to remove the collar?
Not too much--not as much as you'd think he would. He probably went through all that at the vet's. He scratches at it from time to time but not much.
Introducing the new Apple iCat. Somewhat more expensive than your average cat, but as you can see in our demo video, entirely touch-activated!
