USS Concordia, Excelsior class derivative

Belz...

Ok so a while ago I made the Gibraltar, which was my most recent attempt at making my own take on the Excelsior class, but I wasn't really satisfied with it. More recently I tried to improve on the results, but it's my more recent TMP Enterprise art that led me to try again from scratch.

I'm very satisfied with the results this time. So here it is, the Columbia-class USS Concordia.

Great work! I like it.

Viewed from above, the secondary hull reminds me of the Narendra-class/Ambassador-class prototype. From below, the nacelles and nacelle pylons are somewhat Kelvinesque.

What is the timeframe/timeline?

I think it is a well-done design, with a very sleek feel to it. It is interesting to me that you can't really see the nacelles too much past the saucer. This isn't a criticism, but it just stood out to me.

Yeah technically that's not correct of me because you should be able to see the ramscoops from the front. It's one of Roddenberry's "rules" for starship creation. However it looked better that way to me so I decided to ignore the issue.

Ok, some supplemental stuff.

First off, a simple bridge plan for the Concordia, based on the Excelsior's from Star Trek III.

Second, a shuttlecraft variant to go with both the Concordia and the TMP Enterprise I posted a short while ago:

Third, a variant of the uniforms I posted here, representing Starfleet's diplomatic corps, which the Concordia belongs to:

And finally, a variant on the Concordia herself, integrating the Excelsior modifications from Generations to make my own version of the Enterprise-B:

Good for you.
I just wanted to see how it'd look like with the Generations alterations. As with the actual Excelsior, I don't know which one I prefer, though I suspect I agree with you.
