Don't give him ideas.Love the meta humour in that it's to be crowdfunded.
Maybe Peters should start trying to fund a doco of his own.

For the record, GoFundMe no longer charges a percentage of funds raised. It's essentially free (except for credit card transactions fees, for which GFM has no control). It now relies on a "tipping" system where donors voluntarily add a bit of money to their contributions to support GFM itself. According to them, that's working.(OH and if you think GoFundMe cares? Nope. At least not until they see a Warrant or Subpoena) -- they're happy to grab their fees and feign ignorance that anything related to a copyright violating project is occurring.)

I would say LFIM has no shame, but that would be like saying "water is wet" at this point.RMB posted this picture on twitter showing Axanar merchandise being sold at the studio over the weekend while shooting is going on:

FanFilmFactor has some videos from the first day's shooting:

Slow Lane said:If you have spent any or all of the past four years confidently predicting that ALEC PETERS would never get his act together enough to start making his ambitious fan film a reality, look away now.

I love the question at the end of the article asking if "another battle will erupt" between Axanar and CBS. "battle" is not the word I would choose. "Beatdown" might be more appropriate.Obviously, the haters taught them about it...'cause they're haters!
Why do I expect to see "someone" claim the HATERS called CBS to rat him out??Looks like CBS figured out the internet!!!

So J.G. Hertzler is playing an active role in this, even though it was specifically stated in the settlement stipulations that no Trek actor may take part in any fan films? Sigh...this is not going to end well, is it?
Under the settlement he can use JG Hertzler, Gary Graham and Kate Vernon (and Richard Hatch):

He is not allowed to use any other Trek actors.
It's tops two 15 minute segments. That's 30 pages. She must be a slow reader...or she more sensibly used the pages to line a birdcage or potty train a puppy.I don't think Kate Vernon has been confirmed as returning yet. I believe the last update was she was reading the script.
