Has it been determined whether Nog was to make an appearance? Such a tragedy with Eisenberg, but I think all Trek fans would rejoice at one last chance to see him on-screen.
He'd been very ill for the last few months.
I'm not sure he could have kept up with a daily filming schedule.
Sure, I just thought if he had a 10-second appearance or something. Nothing that would've taken more than a day or two of filming. He'll be missed!
If there is a reference to Nog, I hope he’s alive. I really don’t like the idea of killing off characters just because the actor died. Just retire the character, and recast in 30 years or something.

Depends in Ira Behr is involved, he seemed to have ideas about Nog in the future
Gates McFadden is definitely someone I’d love to see in the series. Also John de Lancie and/or Whoopi Goldberg.
