I actually had the same thought. Maybe we get flashbacks somewhere in the game and Eno is played by Amendonla?
They redesigned the blade of the player character's lightsaber to match what they usually look like. I didn't notice anything, but apparently at E3 some people pointed out that the lightsaber's blade in the game didn't look like they usually do, so they've now changed it so it does.
I did notice it looked a little different, but then lightsaber blades always seems to change a little with each iteration. Som of that is down to the different optical VFX techniques attempted back in the day, but even the modern movies that use mostly CG blades (pretty sure even the practical glowing blades are replaced) still managed to look distinct from the also CG prequel blades. See also the change in styles from TCW to SWR. So no, I never really thought twice about it either.
Some scenes in the ST they used actual glowing duelling blades, similar to what you'd get from third party lighersaber builders (and probably what you get from Galaxy's edge now) that are enhanced in post.
With polycarbonate blades for combat capable lightsaber props, a clear blade will look more like an OT blade, while a milky white blade will look more like the PT blades.
New trailer: So it looks like Cal is trying to track down some kind of Jedi artifact or temple or something. Definitely looking forward to this one, it looks awesome.
Anybody got this yet? It came out today. I'm not sure when I'm going to get around to playing this, I already got the year subscription to Disney+ on Tuesday and that was already more money than I should be spending right now.
