Thanks @KimMH . I live in a low lying area near a creek so reserved a hotel room. Just in case I filled my bathtub up and I'm practicing how long I can hold my breath under water.
Hope your outlook for the storm has improved. My in laws are breathing a little easier but are still keeping in touch with their neighbors down there.
I'm feeling a little better about it. I only had until midnight last night to cancel the hotel reservations. I hope I made the right decision by cancelling. I've been blowing out toward the east really hard so hopefully it will stay out at sea.
Like the movie "Bill and Ted's excellent adventure"? I had two dogs that went on an excellent as enter one day. When I finally found them, one had ripped off the outer layer of some of her pads on her feet and the other had about a three inch long sort of deep cut from the side of her mouth back toward her ear. Took them to the vet. The vet said, I Could do this and it that, but nothing was necessary. They were fine. ( husky and a wolf/ husky) Brats! I asked them several times what all they had done that day, years and years and years later they each took the secret to the grave.
