which one are you're favourite relationship on DS9? You may vote for 5.

I always thought that Odo & Lwaxana should get a real relationship,
they were a good match. I'll include them in the list because of there connection.
The same really for Quark & Grilka. They should've stayed married....

it would be interesting to see what people consider the "best" couple
and consequently the "worst".
If it sinks i will take this opportunity to say that The Grand Nagus & Moogie
and also Grilka & Quark are my favourites=)

Good list but you didn't include Julien's relationships with Melora and with Ezri, and you also neglected Quark and Natima, from Profit and Loss. She was clearly the love of his life.

Dang!... i knew i forgot someone.... =) Melora was totally lost from my memory,
and Natima, yeah that was real! I have seen DS9 many times and are on season 7 now,
The Ezri and Julien thing have not happened yet.

This is the brilliant thing with being older and having somewhat a bad memory,
every Star Trek Serie are brand new each time i rotate to watch them.

It wouldn't be the top of anyone's list, but Erzi-Worf deserves to be a choice. And if we were looking at it in terms of the best romantic stories, not best couples, I would chose it. Although not successful, their relationship demonstrates elements not often discussed, like the difficulty of moving on.

damn it!!.. how many did i miss?? lolo.... Miles and Julian should really be a choice=)

It wouldn't be the top of anyone's list, but Erzi-Worf deserves to be a choice. And if we were looking at it in terms of the best romantic stories, not best couples, I would chose it. And Ezri Worf, ofcourse.. Maybe i should watch season 7 all the way through before making Poll's...

It's not particularly a huge oversight, and when you see the relevant episode, it will all make sense.

I think it makes sense to exclude the relationships that are just one episode long. That includes Bashir and Ezri - it was one episode plus half a season of agonizing buildup.

Miles-Keiko is a really good portrayal of making a marriage work long-term, once the infatuation has worn off and there start to be differences between them that can't be settled without one party giving up something that's really important to them.

Miles and Keiko are my favorite relationship in Trek. They made marriage/family work even when it was tough. And, really, sometimes it was very tough.

I also voted for Ben+Kassidy and Kira+Bareil.

Rom the true idiot (although he might actually be a genius) and Leeta. The idea of a girl that looks like her falling for a guy with those ears is absurd and it is the best underdog story in the history of Trek.

Odo and Lwaxana had amazing chemistry. I liked Odo and Kira as friends but not as lovers.

Winn and Anjohl? No - just no! Winn herself was disgusted when she found out that she was in bed with Dukat! Love is clearly blind...

None of the Winn relationships would ever work for me for in context of show. Which is why I think that Dukat/fake Dukat/Winn was one of the WORST creative/editorial DS9 writers decisions ever made. They undercut her AND the show. Winn only loves herself, and really wouldn't have been taken in. This was all rushing to the finale...

Now, a low-key Winn/Sisko sublimated or unconsummated relationship in previous seasons might have been more interesting

They had something unhealthy... Ziyal love Garak and Garak enjoyed the attention but was kind of amused, like a puppy had followed him home. Also Garak enjoyed tweaking Dukat.
