I'm happy with what you are saying -- but it is not the only interpretation of this. I just mentioned the difference in my mind between potential future and alternate timeline--and to my memory no where in the film does it specifically say alternate timelines are created when you travel to the past except when the Ancient One discusses removing the stones. I would be happy to concede the argument if somebody can find dialogue that says otherwise.

As for the events that are changed--they are changed in timelines that have already been affected by the Avengers taking the stones thus when the stones are returned those timelines collapse as if they had never existed. Gamora seems to be some kind of time remnant from a timeline that no longer exists.

How about Cap from an almost completely identical timeline came to our past and lived a life with our Peggy. Our Cap went to the past of the other timeline and lived a life with that Peggy.

Neither is aware of the change, it's undetectable. They might swap timelines back at some point, they might not. What's the difference ?

That still requires at least one Steve Rogers to sit around with his thumb up his arse while someone shoots Martin Luther King Jr.
So not "almost identical" so much as "an entirely dissimilar person that Peggy would probably never fall in love with in the first place." ;)

    That's adorable.

She's in a movie called "Stargirl" not the DC Universe TV series.
Though she is very qualified to play the DC character called Artemis

More specifically, she's in a movie called Stargirl that is being made for the Disney+ network, which as we've seen with past Disney stars, may in fact give her an inside edge to star in another different Disney production, in this case Hawkeye.

Is there a Disney inside edge when it comes to Marvel casting?

Oh, my mistake, the DCU series is the only Stargirl I was aware of.

For bit-parts *maybe*, but I doubt it has any serious impact when it comes to casting major roles.

Well, that was nice while it lasted. I'll catch Tom Hollands next Spider-Man movie on home video. Maybe.

That is the worst thing that they could possibly have chosen to do. I'll give Watts and Holland a chance to convince me with trailers (assuming they don't get replaced) but that really kills a lot of interest in those movies.

This is really disheartening to hear. Far From Home ended in a way where I was looking forward to the spider man films going forward. Does this mean they can’t even mention anything in the MCU, and no more Happy?

I just hope that Amy Pascal retains creative control at Sony and no creative control is back given back to Avi Arad.
