This remains one of my favorite technical manuals of all time, so I'm happy to bring a freshly scanned 400dpi version for all to enjoy. https://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/sotsf-vol1.php Ships of the Star Fleet: Volume One / Revised One hundred and third year of issue 2290-91 Enjoy-
I'm sure you've been asked, but I wonder whether you ask/contact/talk with the artists/designers about posting their work. I don't want to get into the whole issue of fans working with ideas/designs legally owned by a big corporation, but as a fanzine/self-published fan artist, I'd like to know.
Patience pays off. I *was* going to make the next update the follow-up to SotSF Vol 1, but I'll work on MAPS instead.
Excellent question -- in many, many cases I receive expressed written permission to display their works on my site. Many times artists reach out to me about showcasing their work (which I'm absolutely happy to do). Other times I simply can not reach certain artists -- many because their works are decades old and I strike out when trying to locate their contact info. I do my best to celebrate the artists/writers and their incredible work, but if someone prefers not to have their work reflected on my site, then I certainly oblige.
Yes, absolutely! You should also look for Volume 2 which has full deck plans for an Akula sub-class perimeter action ship.
