I haven't been able to log on to Flare in about a week. Any other Flareites here having trouble?

 

I was not able to access the site this night. Maybe tomorrow?

 

Down for me too. Hope it’s not gone for good. There was a lot of amazing research done on the Trek filming miniatures on that site.

 

The site's been pretty much on life support for years...I'm not even sure the owner is even still around. It's been sorely in need of an upgrade, and I can probably count on two hands the amount of people who still post there. But with that said, it was the first BBS I ever posted on, and I still love it. I hope it didn't just vanish into thin air without any warning.

 

FYI, Flare is back online!

It's down again. Hopefully it will be back soon like last time.

 

solareclipse-net part of the URL is up for sale though,,,, so hopefully finds a new host

 

This is a damn shame if we lose this one. It was my first BBS I ever used. I hope it can saved.

 

Yeah, I'm very nervous that this time Flare is completely dead. Unfortunately there's no real way to contact Flare's owner, as he's been incommunicado for years.

Still not seeing it, with multiple browsers and machines. Oh well...

Edit: Ah, now I’m seeing it finally! Probably more to do with domain name resolution and redeployment, as it seems that the domain was accidentally allowed to expire. Just took longer to get to my backwater ISP, is all.
