But she packed my suit case and sent me on my way
She gave me a kiss and then she gave me some credits.
I put my PADD on and said, 'I might as well kick it'.

Is this what the people of La Barre living like?

But wait I hear they're prissy, bourgeois, all that

Well, the ship dropped into orbit and when I beamed out
There was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out
I ain't trying to get arrested yet
I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared
I whistled for a shuttle and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this shuttle was rare
But I thought 'Nah, forget it' - 'Yo, homes to La Barre'
I pulled up to the house about seven or eigth
And I yelled to the pilot 'Yo homes smell ya later'
I looked at my kingdom
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Princess of La Barre

In a way she is right. She is a normal person, along with those that we seen with her on the Borg Cube. The sign does say 5843 days without assimilation. Which mean, she was either still in fitus stage when her mom was capture or 3 years old when capture, or the Picard and the Borg Queen Child. Anyway she is a Borg. The Romulan either found out how to stop the assimilation process or The Borg assimilation tech went dormant on it own, or she learned how to control the Borg tech on her own.
I'm sorry, but that is just colossally stupid.
