So, Shark Week is coming later this month, so this one is all about the selachimorpha. Pick a pic of a shark (not from a movie or TV show, especially not of a fake shark like Jaws, though nature documentaries are obviously allowed), put it inside the usual size limitations (200x200 pixels and/or 1 Mb data), and there you go. For now, one entry per user should do. Might crank that up later on, depending on participation, but for now, should be enough.
Only sharks as a whole or also parts of them? (not Schillerlocken, of course, but for example a tooth or a fin)
^thanks Since you already posted my favourite shark I'll counter with an unusual perspective. This is a fossile shark tooth as viewed from inside the shark's mouth (it's one from fairly back on the left upper jaw). The holes are natural: they are the points where the blood vessels and nerves entered the tooth. (handy, too - I occasionally wear the tooth on a thin leather strap)
Okay, awesome pic, but at the risk of walking into a catfish joke, I gotta ask: what's with the 'meow' caption?
it is not just the cat in the shark cubby that is out there but this is one that comes to mind.. cat in shark outfit... chasing duck on a vacuum
