Variety gives a rundown on what to expect at Hall H. The only information there that really surprised me was that Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things is up for a role in Eternals. Gender-swapped Sprite?

The casting sheets had a character named "Piper." I suspect that character is a fake name, so I tend to agree.

Millie Bobbi Brown was great in King of the Monsters and Stranger THings, so I would look forward to her joining the MCU.

Damn, she's getting on board with all of the franchises! Godzilla, Sherlock Holmes, and now possibly Marvel? Fantastic. :D

All the Stranger Things kids have definitely improved in their acting abilities since Season 2, but she was really stand out this past season. She is great at conveying a lot through subtle facial expressions and tone.

MInd you, I know jack shit about the Eternals but looking at an Eternals wiki would Pixie be likely for Millie Bobby Brown?

Wow. I had never even heard of that character or the "First Line" team before now, and I consider myself a fan of both creators, Roger Stern (the most under-appreciated Marvel writer of the 80s) and John Byrne.

I suppose it's possible, but that's a pretty obscure character. I'd rather that they stick to the better known Jack Kirby created characters.

The MCU has a pretty clear track record of cherry picking it's source material in an effort to tell the best possible version of that character. So I can't see any reason why they'd suddenly stick religiously to Kirby's material to the exclusion of all else.

Didn't she get an Emmy nom for the 1st Season?

She was also a highlight in King of Monsters.

That's been rumored for awhile now, so good to see it somewhat confirmed. If so, I'm sure it'll be formerly announced at Comic-Con.

So 'Akira' gets shelved again because they tried to actually give it an Asian cast. That's going to go down well...

Sidetrack but I don't see how Akira can ever work. The "Twitter generation" would obviously never allow a white washed version set in America, then if you set it in Japan... it's gonna stare a bunch of people no ones ever heard of. And for a movie of that magnitude and no doubt huge budget you need bankable names in the cast, or if not have a big name director who can bring audiuences in. And then are they all speaking English or Japanese?.. I can't see a studio backing on enough of the general audiuence going to see a subtitled movie starring nobodies, no matter how cool it looks

I'm glad to have this confirmed, I loved Ragnarok and I can't wait to see what Feige, Waititi, and co. come up with for #4.
So I wonder if this will connect to GotG Vol. 3, if Thor is in that one, like they seemed to set up in Endgame.

I actually don't see Thor appearing in the next Guardians movie as James Gunn wrote that script ages ago, but I can see some of the Guardians having a part in the next Thor movie. Rocket and Groot, in particular I can see.

I really would like to see some follow-up on Queen Brunnhilde and New Asgard (I'm reasonably sure she has been given that name in supplemental materials, if not on screen).

Also, something I just thought of. It was stated before Stormbreaker was even forged that it could summon the bifrost. In fact, that was the first thing Thor did with the thing. So, then why does he need to ride anywhere with the Guardians?

I don't see Marvel setting Thor up as a Guardian in Endgame if he's not going to be in Guardians 3. Not unless Thor 4 comes out before Guardians 3, which it almost certainly won't and it definitely wasn't supposed to.

Remember Marvel knew where Endgame was going a long time ago, too, and Gunn was set up as the Whedon/Russo brothers of Phase IV way back when so Thor's change may have actually been his choice to begin with.
