Agreed. And the continuous bolding for emphasis in the dialog bubbles where it sometimes doesn't make sense to do so is really freaking annoying.

I would suggest watching Linkara and his "Atop the Fourth Wall" show where he puts the verbal emphasis in the bolded. It makes for funny listening :)

Nobody associated with peters will come out unscathed. With those lawyer letters looks like even lane is finding himself in a bad spot.

It is becoming clear that doing business with peters is just a bad idea.

It's not just Peters. A lot of this is self inflicted. RMB is doing some of this to himself. I can't imagine why I would ever want to work with RMB.

Yeah, I'm starting to think nobody is going to come out of this whole mess looking good.
The people behind Axanar haven't 'looked good' since the people who ACTUALLY made (IE got the 22 minute "Prelude To Axanar" feature filmed, edited, and released <--- And hint: That's NO ONE who currently remains with Mr. Peters and is a part of Axanar Productions as it exists today - left in the months after its initial release, once they saw Peters was only interested in taking credit for "Prelude To Axanar" and NOT moving forward to start to film and produce what would have been a 90 minute Axanar feature <--- Which again was WHY those who actually made Prelude left in first place (although them noticing peters kept control of all funds pouring in at the time, but was refusing to allocate any when they requested things that would get actual production going had something to do with it too.)

Aside form coming up with the initial concept (well, to be fair it should more read: "Pulling the concept from a FSA supplement source book for their - now no longer sold/in print STAR TREK Roleplaying game); and getting ACTUAL Hollywood talent interested enough in it (although that was probably more due to Christian Gossett's involvement that anything Peters did after getting Mr. Gossett on board), to get "Prelude To Axanar" made and released.

What amazes me to this day is that at this point Mr. Peters has NO ONE involved who could pull off even the two 15 minute segments (IE There is NO ONE currently involved with Axanar who has the knowledge or experience to do what is need to get the segments filmed and do the post production work needed); yet he still acts like he's surrounded by 'professionals' chomping at the bit to do it.:wtf::guffaw:

re the comic: thus far it's a typical fanfilm, with pew pews and shields down to nobodycares and someone about to make a noble sacrifice so the hero's plot armor can stay intact. If this is a "storyboard" anything filmed off it is going to be so by the numbers you could use it as a clock.

Are you kidding? Has everyone here forgotten that RMB was a total dick whilst attached to Axanar? His attempts to act like a good guy post the fallout merely papers over that reality.
Trust me, no one has forgotten.
It's kind of funny, that all the former "best buddies" of AP turn to Axamonitor, revealing some parts of the truths that we knew all along since back then. I like the dramatic beats of this story. It's still entertaining and proves the importance of this thread and its former sibling.
I still am happy that I never donated one single dime on this "endeavour". Still, I'm feeling bad for all those donors, of whom some have lost lots of money. And the list of naive "givers" hasn't ended, yet.
If only they knew, that their hopes of playing an important role in the history STAR TREK are not just futile, but rather patchetic (sic)...

I watched that "Heroes" clip of Garth and Kirk and even with the caveat that Garth is out of sorts Alec has all the screen presence of a box of Cheerios and half the flavor. He probably should not be acting against any real actors. He hasn't got "it", and plays like a scenery flat compared to them. This is no slam. I could do no better, which is why I remain steadfastly behind the camera.

I don't feel badly for the donors getting involved in a failed project. This has happened to me. I feel for those who were sold a bill of goods and after 2 or 3 years haven't moved on. IT"S OVER! No movie, no patches, no becoming a part of fan film history, nothing!
It's a cheap lesson until one tries to double down on their loss with the next production of "A Fool and Their Money"
Just move on and don't look back every time A.P shouts Hater" at you.
There are so many other adventures to enjoy.

On screen Cheerios have no effect on the heart, except the metaphorical "love" one. They do, however, have an effect on the budget, hence their beautifully lit appearance in the Kent house in Superman.
One might think about editing it down to Axanar Hair regrowth product for men.

Just starting to think that?
Well, for a while I was starting to think that maybe RMB wasn't that bad, but obviously he is.
meh.

I really think releasing this a page at a time is a bad move. There is not enough in one page to really make it worthwhile to do it like this.
Ugh, no real improvement. Do we know how long this is going to be?

Donations to Interlude seem to be slowing down.
