I kinda wish that Batwoman is set on Supergirl's Earth instead of Arrow's Earth, for precisely that reason. That would mean there's a Batwoman on both Earths, and that's fine.
The article says that Batwoman is on a separate Earth and won't be crosssing over with the other shows. So are they just mixed up, or are we not going to be following Earth 1 version we met in Elseworlds?
The Variety article didn't mention it, and it's the first I heard of it anyway. What's really perplexing is the wording: "She is from a different Earth after all and it’s obvious that we won’t be seeing her interact with other DC characters until another big DC/CW crossover like the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths." It makes it sound like something that was already well established. My guess is, this Nico Parungo who wrote the article was a little confused and thought the Gotham scenes in "Elseworlds" were not set on Earth-1.
Considering that the article also got the date of the premier wrong, I'm going to go with "mixed up". I'm going to edit my original post with a more accurate article.
Probably. I'm not sure the show has the budget for it, but I would like to see this series introduce another type of Bat-vehicle with a design that takes no influences from the 1966 TV / Burton-Schumacher / Nolan adaptations. Something that for once, stands apart from the rest, but is not shy about playing into Bat-fantasy.
What about Adam West's sweet bat -speedboat? Too fast to fish from, but I am sure it could pull a water skier behind it.
