Time shattered Janeway unsuspectingly have to put up with and perform for Dr. Chaotica to get him to inject the gel pack.
Tuvok: "You are not invulnerable, hologram! a few well chosen commands, and you would cease to exist."
Janeway vs Qs (Plakson and DeLancie) "What are you doing with that dog?" great beat "I'm not talking about the puppy"
Also the scene where the lady Q and B'elanna are arguing and B'elanna tells her off, then the lady Q says "I've always liked Klingon females..."
I don't know what they were thinking at the time, and immature as it is, it's not going to stop me from laughing anyway. It's not exactly a 'little' moment, though...
May I leave now? I can't find it, but another fav moment is when Harry Kim has the conn while someone s hacking into Voyager. [Bridge] KIM: Someone's trying to tap into the main computer. JANEWAY [OC]: Source? KIM: It's some kind of transwarp signal. It's activating the comm. system. (A green light suffuses the bridge.) KIM: Captain, [Corridor] KIM [OC]: I think it's for you
Two Chakotay moments: In Shattered, when Icheb tells him where to hide his wine, Chakotay says "That's officer level thinking, Icheb!" This is like exactly the kind of thing officers say. I always liked the line. And the other is when Chakotay says "Then tear it apart!" in Fury.
It's close to a Sulu line in TUC where he asks his helmsman to go faster and the other one objects that the ship may fly apart and Sulu says: "Then fly her apart!"
I liked at the end when Janeway told him to go to the cargo bay to get more wine and he was shocked that she knew where it was hidden. He asked how she knew and she threw his previous excuse at him. JANEWAY: "Temporal prime directive." He forgot he told her he was in the cargo bay watching Icheb and Naomi put a puzzle together before he arrived at her quarters for their dinner at the beginning of their adventure.
Supposedly when told the proportions of his Mary vs his Jesus in the Pieta were seriously off (Mary would be 7 foot tall vs Jesus' more normal ht of <6 feet) Michelangelo said he sculpted for the eye not the ruler. When you watch Shattered, you should just hold on tight and enjoy the ride, to hell with logic. Really.
They made a similar observation about the Jesus that was "imprinted" in the shroud of Turin. Turns out he would have had impossible proportions. Yet for years they pretended that it was genuine.
