jeez. These people make the Chattering Order look like a MENSA gathering. They'll probably take the lack of a second season as a victory for their cause.
I think this is a "sign" we'll get a second season. If for no other reason than to make their heads explode.
The whole point is moot considering Gaiman has said there will be no second season. He has no interest in writing a sequel without Pratchett.
Or Lucifer?Wonder if they have seen preacher which airs on Amazon over here.![]()
Or Lucifer?
I finished the mini series. I read the book, but it was so many years ago that I was basically going into this blind. It was ok. Whenever Crowley and Aziraphale were on screen it was great, but unfortunately the show had more then just them. Whenever the kid was onscreen by himself or with his friends I was bored to tears, I wish he had just been a plot device that wasn't really seen. The witch and the nerdy guy were pretty decent, they were the only other characters I cared about outside of the main two. The old Witchfinder and the psychic lady were horrible, I absolutely loathed them. Jon Hamm annoyed me to the point that I never bothered to remember his name, but he wasn't around enough to piss me off like the Witchfinder/psychic duo.
The story was ok, but some of the weaker characters dragged it down. The narration was probably used a bit too much, but it didn't really bother me. Overall this was an ok mini series with some great elements.
I mean...Agnes knew they would burn the prophecies, so maybe she sent another,
Oh, I've never thought that the box of papers Agnes Nutter had delivered to Newt and Anathema was anything more than blank paper and the letters to various people along the way to make sure it gets delivered. I mean, if Agnes knew about everything else, she'd know that Newt and Anathema were going to put the papers to the torch, so she could have a little private joke with them... and, in a way, send a message to Anathema that everything turned out okay, since one of Anathema's issues was that she knew she was at the end of time. For the first time in her life, Anathema could live a life that wasn't predestined, and I never saw Agnes, nutter that she was, doing something to actively take that away from her, even if Agnes herself knew what that future was..
