Speaking of horse shit...
This used to be a thread where you could write your thoughts without constantly being harassed by hecklers. I mean say one month ago, a situation like that would have been unimaginable.
I guess we just have to be patient. Sooner or later the PTB will get wind of this "unusual" situation.

I almost went to that game. Had tickets but my wife got sick as hell with some kind of bug and guilted me into staying home. Gave my tickets to a co-worker and he had a ball. It was a mad house Steve Dahl was the local shock jock whose brainstorm it was. Being basically an idiot, he really incited the thing.
And to think, I was having such a good day before now.
Posting images as a response is not by itself "harassment". I have reviewed the thread, and most of the images weren't even in reply to, or directed at, you.
In fact, there does not seem to be anything here that rises to the level of being actionable under the rules. The closest was actually this post:
which could be construed as flaming.
So all that being said, let's please return to the topic of "random thoughts" and not keep dwelling on the status of this thread.
I know it's a fine line between random thoughts and general chit-chat, but if you want to engage in just general chatting, I would direct you to the Ten Forward thread pinned at the top of this forum. That's what it's there for.
I wouldn't think so. The thread itself still has merit. If anyone decides to continue to cause issues, I think we would deal with those individuals directly, rather than just close the whole thread.

We've always kept dogs so I have a lot of practize regarding that particular problem. My advice is: don't let it dry on your shoe - it gets as hard as concrete. Rub off as much as you can on a tuft of grass. Remove the rest with a brush and warm water. An old toothbrush is particularly helpful when you have soles with very narrow ridges. Once all is removed, usually the smell will be gone. If it persists, try rubbing the sole of the shoe with vinegar. In extreme cases, try toothpaste.
If you don't mind wet feet, walk through a dewy meadow as long as the poo is still fresh. The wet grass will brush your shoes squeaky clean =)
LOL yes, which is why I decided to edit that last sentence out again. It's not really what one wants to read at lunchtime.
Speaking of hedgehogs: is it just my imagination or have they really gotten very rare lately? I haven't seen a single one this year. Also, I've not seen any Maybeetles either and no Junebeetle yet (but today is only the 4th). And there are hardly any butterflies
