Okay, thanks again to everyone who voted for that one of my many entries in the last contest, and sorry again to @Avro Arrow for my poor attempt at humor causing confusion over my current emotional state.

Right, off to the new contest, then. It was Memorial Day this past weekend in the U.S., and it's been viewed as the official start for movie summer for several decades now (even if the importance of summer for a movie's box office has declined in the past few years). Many a classic movie was released on Memorial Day weekend, and many a classic movie bomb was dropped on Memorial Day weekend, so there's many to choose from. For help, here's a list of "The Best Movies Released Memorial Day Weekend, here's the BoxOfficeMojo List of All Time Memorial Day Holiday Weekends, here's Wikipedia's list of dates for Memorial Day since 1971, as well as the Wikipedia List of years in film to crossreference with.

So, for starters I'd say you may enter up to three avatars, which may not exceed 200x200 in pixels and/or 1 Mb in data. You may also not enter an avatar that would piss off our Google Overlords, so keep it safe for work.

Maybe you've misunderstood the theme. It is movies that opened for Memorial Day Weekend. "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" opened in June, "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" opened in November, so I'm afraid neither of these qualify.
