What? I thought they had mapped out a five-season show. Now I watch the show and I mostly enjoy it, but considering how much stupidity they're already experiencing three seasons in, I can't imagine three quality seasons to follow.
NOO!!! I was getting into the show. I guess the TV Gods giveth and taketh with "Orville" coming back and this show leaving. Jason
I was wondering about Maggie and Everyone Hates Chris. They were both in The Walking Dead, and now they're both in this. Maybe they're hooking up on set?
Madam Secretary is ending with a super short, TEN episodes, season 6. Not a shock at all. My guess is she will become president in the last scene and therefor no longer 'Madam Secretary'.
She has to resign from the current administration, before can try to found an opposing administration, which may have already almost happened. Elizabeth's second in command, at the state department is a boy... Although I think he's leaving too. So there could be a new madam while Beth is campaigning.
I've only see like two seasons but from what I have heard she might have already quit which legally she doesn't need to do at all. That's not in the Constitution, just be American Born and over 35 in swear in time. But even still you are called Madam Secretary even long after you leave or lose an election to an orange game show host clown.
That made for very sad reading. As others have said, how is the show still on the air? Taints watching reruns of NCIS as well. How far we still have to go when it comes to equality.
Explicitedly the case per the penultimate episode, the ranking Deputies are removed from consideration (one for a #MeToo scandal, can't recall why the other wasn't tapped, so ASEC - African Affairs Susan Thompson - played by Tonya Pinkins) will be the Acting Secretary during s6), backed up by Secretary McCord's second PA, who is the only "McCord loyalist" remaining at State during the campaign.
It really is sad, not just for what happened in her case but because it doesn't even surprise me. It's upsetting that there is literally video footage of him sexually harassing her and CBS knew it and settled because of it, but people still believe him over her. And why? Because they like his show? I don't get it. I don't understand why other actors are shamed out of a job and he's not. So irritated that this show was renewed.
the defence of the renewal by cbs is pretty pathetic. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/entertain...-back-for-season-4/ar-AABoNSJ?ocid=spartandhp "michael make a mistake" bullshit. One is a mistake more than once becomes a pattern. the harassment of Eliza Dushku wasn't a one off of thing
