I like the idea of her life as instigating the Mirror Universe in some way. However, I wish they had a stronger female role, like Edith Keeler, on the Enterprise.
Given the 23rd century humanity had gotten past all the issues Edith was fighting for, would Edith fit in on the Enterprise in such an anachronistic way? Would there be better ways to show strong female roles in 23rd century context? (e.g. in TAS when Uhura takes command ("The Lorelei Signal" but in circumstances other than all the males being affected by yet another "Planet of the Amazonian Women" trope of the sort that Futurama had a field day with?)
