Just saw this today. It's so good. I think I'm going to love this movie.
Psyduck hugging Pikachu is cute on too many levels, I can't handle it.
So many good comments coming out about it. Pokemon Detective Pikachu's Twitter feed is full of very good positive comments. Makes me that much more hyped about this film .

DeVito would’ve been good and funny, Reynolds does seem to be going for giving him a little more heart though.
Just came across this nice little Extra tv interview. He talks about how he got the role and how he prepared for it. I respect any actor who studies up for their role. Big props to him.

So I watched this today.
Avengers has nothing to worry about.
It's an ok movie. In some ways it reminded me of the live action 'Dragon Ball'. It's fairly cheesy, pretty tame and not so exciting for a live action pokemon anime film. Definitely aimed at kids more than adults.
They should have made this a hard R or either just did a full on Pokemon movie.
