I was finally able to watch on my computer last night. What a great way to spend a couple hours. There was a lot they left out, but this will become a part of my DS9 rewatches, right after the final episode.

Just Finished watching it, I absoloutly loved it. The only thing i wish was that it was longer, the 2 hours seemed to fly by. Loved hearing the plan for Season 8 Episode 1, My only regret is that they didn't go further and have a rough plan for season 8, guess ill have to use my imagination.
I'll definitely pick up the blu-ray when it comes out, Its also made me want to go back and start watching DS9 again from the beginning.

I hooked my 55" Samsung (1080p) directly to the computer and it looked great; though I did catch a few up-rezzed shots. I watched "Duet" a couple days later and you really do appreciate the difference watching back to back with an SD episode.
There's a lot I'd love to write about the doc but don't want to spoil it. Without mentioning anything specifically said:
1. They tried to do too much in two hours, and a lot of subjects/characters/episodes get short thrift or no mention.
2. Avery Brook's absence (not a spoiler) is keenly felt.
3. Tone is sometimes too self-congratulatory.
3. The love demonstrated by the writers, actors, and crew is endearing and made up for a lot of the doc's shortcomings.
4. It's a fast two hours.
5. More Nana Visitor, please! :-)
6. There are two subjects I wish they covered. One relates to a specific writer and the other is very controversial in the fan community (Aron Eisenberg mentions it in passing).
Overall, it's a fun two hours and I'm pleased as a backer. "Chaos on the Bridge" is still the better of the documentaries, though Ira is infinitely more likable than William Shatner as host.

Having watched Avengers last night as what seemed like a breezy 3 hours running time, I keep thinking it should have been longer. 
...with...everyone!Personally I'm looking forward to the commentary track.
There better be copious extras on the Blu-ray, I tells ya. Especially as some of the stuff that didn't make the cut was in some adverts. (Such as Hertzler telling his story about Rene's "It's my anger, you can't have it!)
Also, am I crazy or did the root beer footage not make it into the final edit? Does that mean they paid to have footage remastered and then didn't use it? Madness!
Also, I really hope the Blu-ray has photo galleries. I could look at 1000 pics like these.

I'm going by myself.
My wife did go with me to see TWOK Fathom Event back for the 35th anniversary in 2017. However, that was a movie. She said since this was more of a documentary that she'd pass.
She's slowly being exposed to Trek. Space Seed, TWOK, and all of DISCO. It's a work in progress.

My daughter is going with me. She's watched the occassional episode with me, and then we started an in-order rewatch together last year; now we're in late season 6. She enjoyed the streaming preview too.
And I don't think I said it before, but they did a great job. Even the second time through I got teary a couple of times.

I think I counted 4 or 5 total that weren't HD and 2-3 of them had effects in the shot they would have needed to recreate so sadly I'm pretty sure it was completed. Still amazing all the ones we got and reading that they have hours and hours of DS9 scanned into HD now.
Ugh, the closest one is 100KM away from me. Oh well.
The one I noticed (Vic and Sisko singing) was a clip not directly used in the show - perhaps an alternative take or behind the scenes video.
Otherwise: my thoughts:
I loved it. But it was too short. They did a good job trying to touch on all of the major characters, but there is no way anyone can fit all of a seven year show into a 2-hour documentary. They could barely mention the major elements. Maybe a 10 part/20 hour documentary, maybe.
One of my favorite parts is the very last bit in the credits of the "greatest moment in DS9". Had me smiling.
I loved the season 8 episode 1 pitch. Not every element was great, but as Moore said they would have worked on it with more time. It got me longing for a real season 8. Comon CBS, a third new Trek animated series with the original voice cast would be doable and awesome! And the cast could do their work in their pajamas!
One thing I noticed about the "Sacrifice of Angels" shot: I kept thinking "there is something wrong with this, it doesn't feel right", then I realized that the music wasn't right. Probably an issue like what affected the "Quantum Leap" DVDs a few years back in that though Ira could pay for the rights to use the DS9 footage, they didn't have the right/control to use the original music from that scene. I think there was also substitute music for the scene of Odo and Kira kissing from "His Way".
Hey, I'd love a longer documentary, but I regard it as nearly-miraculous that we're even getting this one.
There's also a part of me that's inclined to ask anyone who would complain about the length of the documentary, or other issues along those lines: So, did you help to fund it? (not directed at the above poster, just a general observation)
