Case dismissed! Discovery and Tardigrade game "not similar"

Well yeah, that's pretty much the level of specifity that this case has - from the clothing to the light effects to the same animation for what's happening.

Of course you can list other things that are different - as I said "otherwise not connected to the events of "Dumbo", meaning the majority of it being different - Just this one, extremely specific thing that's straight up exactly the same.
Really? Thne case has the same level a specificity with regard to FTL travel? That would mean Abdin's Tartigratde required SPECIAL MYCEALIAL SPORES to travel FTL...oh, wait, it didn't...

Sorry, there's no congruent specificity here between ST: D's method of Tartigrade FTL and Abdin's beyond the "They're both space travelling Human sized Tartigrades." Hell, ST: D's tartigrade doesn't actually go FTL ether - it essentially teleports to another dimension that allows for a type of shortcut, then teleports back to our dimension.

That sums it up nicely.
It does. As did the summaries posted every few pages for the past seven months (it's seemed like seven years) this circus sideshow of a thread has been running. And yet the few (really just one guy mainly) repetitive usual suspects are going to continue coming in making the same baseless arguments they have for the past 68 pages despite those arguments being refuted in detail over and over again with facts, links, people who actually know what they're talking about, and people who don't even like the show but know this lawsuit is nonsense. But it's all an "echo chamber" of people with "lunatic arguments" working for their "CBS overlords".

As a member of the Stonecutters, and therefore someone with a keen interest in this case, I require no payment. The joy of seeing a ordinary man with a dream of a video game and a tardigrade being squashed by the all powerful wheels of the industrial-entertainment collective brings such satisfaction that I cover my left eye in salute and think fondly of future victories to come. There is someone in this thread that knows too much, oh yes, but we know him now. All is as we have forseen it. And now we will track down those who still think the Happy Birthday song is copywritten and smite their ruin across the plains. So mote it be, Bahamut.

In fact one might argue that he who steps up to defend this judas goat, this required victim named Abdin, was indeed OUR shill and has been working as a double agent all along. Now it can be told. Rage against hubris, uselessly lionhearted. You sir, will dine with our order and have ribs!

It seems that I've actually been paying Them $10 bucks a month since January for that title.
Silly me.
(welll, silly Mrs. really)
;)

It looks like discovery did not go well for Abdin. He’s now publically asking people to email information that will help the case

Krandor -- A friendly suggestion to fix your typos (tell = well and cast = case?) :)
I generally don't want to be too harsh on typos. So long as the point is conveyed, all is well.

In this case, where cast and case have legitimate meaning in regards to Trek, DSC, and related things, I spent a strange minute thinking Krandor meant that Abdin was asking for people to email information that would help the cast, and wondering the cast of what? Why would the cast of DSC matter here? Did Abdin have a cast lined up for his game that doesn't exist? How would emailing help the cast?

I know, I'm being pedantic, but mainly I'm pointing out how stupid I felt for not (immediately) getting that it was a typo.

Don’t mind at all. I did post that from my phone and we all know what can happen when you do that.

Then it is over. Sounds like his "lawyer" has abandoned him if he's having to ask for help from the internet.

It's funny, my brain instantly autocorrected "tell" to "well", but then it took me several seconds to figure out "cast".
