The Doomsday Machine (my favorite episode):
1. Run. The Enterprise runs from the DM twice; Spock reports that they have outrun the machine on warp drive, and the other time they can only stay ahead of it on impulse drive.
2. Blind and Deaf. Kirk comments that he is blind and deaf after he loses comms with the Enterprise. Then he tries to get the view screen to work.
