If our universe is just one universe among an infinite number of universes that make up the multiverse, is our multiverse just one of many multiverses in an infinite number of multiverses?
Where does it end?
Hope it refreshed you. I love to sleep!I guess I needed some sleep. Went to bed somewhere around 1 am and woke at almost 9 am. Then I fell asleep again and woke up a little while ago at almost noon. I even had a cowlick (think Alfalfa from Little Rascals)!
Maybe you look like someone she knew a long time ago and she was trying to figure out if you were the same person?^^ Thank you.
So...how does one tell the difference when someone is staring at you with infatuation vs. a look of, "WTF am I looking at?!?"
This last Saturday evening I was out with a group of people and this younger 20-something woman was staring at me with a bit of a smile. I mean, right from the time she arrived with a friend of hers all the way to the end of the time I left. Every time I glanced over, she was staring at me. Even if it were infatuation, I'm afraid she's a little young for me, but I still get the feeling that it may have been the other look she was giving me. :frustrated:
There is direct access storage and then long term storage. Long term involves off-site highly compressed data. The technology has gotten so good, I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook and Google are capable of storing all the information they've ever collected. Retrieving the long term storage would take longer than short term storage. There would also be one or more mechanisms in place as gate keepers, making unauthorized access difficult if not impossible. But as for typing something you never post? No. You could have malware on your computer that captures it, but these media sites don't work like that. Your browser would have to be compromised, allowing them to install intentional malware. If they ever got caught doing something like that, they'd be out of business. It's believed that Facebook keeps everything that you do. Every post, every photo, every private message, every like, even if you edit or remove them, they have it. Even if you type something but never post it, they have it.
Do you think the other social media platforms do the same thing?
Your post inspired me to get some gyros meat today, and I made flatbread sandwiches. Abandoning all sense of culinary decorum, I put both tzatziki and hummus all over them.I know you've all been wondering what the difference is between gyros and shawarma. Well - until half an hour ago I had no idea. Start with the origin - gyro being Greek and Shawarma originated somewhere around Israel. Gyro is almost always beef/lamb - Shawarma can be about any meat other than pork, most often beef, lamb, goat and chicken. The biggest difference is spice. The gyro is seasoned with oregano, rosemary, thyme and marjoram in the Greek fashion. Shawarma spices are turmeric, cardomom, cinnamon and clove. Gyro is served with tzatziki - a yogurt sauce with cucumber, garlic and dill. Shawarma is served with hummus and/or tahini (sesame seed paste). I know you really wanted to know that. A cook named George at my local gyro shop told me all of this while I waited for my order. I know I'm better off for knowing it.
