Hopefully Black Adam is in the next one so that he can kick Captain Marvel's candy ass all over Philadelphia.

- Don't know why they couldn't get Cavill but I'm one to agree that the cameo we got worked out better. Still not fond of that sequins outfit though.

- Wished they used Fawcett City.

- Nice to see the Marvel family at the end. Glad they didn't wait for the sequel.

- I was going to ask if the others' powers were permanent or just a one-time thing but it looks like a number of people here already answered that.

Growing up, I'd always see people getting their coats on and getting ready to leave when it looked like the movie was almost over and I've always wondered... Why the rush to leave so quickly?

According to my paternal grandfather, whatever the event was, he wanted to beat the traffic. When I finally got caught up with, "The Kids Are Alright", I was amazed to hear them use that incentive too. Hmm.

Hmm. One post didn't take?

Hi! Hmm. Should I reply to myself, to continue a train of thought? But anyway, one time I went to the local fireworks show, and I tried to find a place to park. It seemed like every legal spot was in use. A deputy was directing traffic. I asked him where I could find an empty spot. He looked at me oddly, as people were honking. It turns out that the show was over and people were leaving, not arriving! That's when Grandpa's words finally made sense to me.

As for the end credits. Well, I'm friends with the local movie theater owners. They know that I sit for the whole movie. If a light turns on, and they see people staying, they turn the lights off. Though sometimes, the lights are to help find keys, or other items. Plus, to help the elderly see.

The place was remodeled, and the back row seats are larger than the rest. My dad complained about his butt getting stuck. So they listened. Those that like the bigger seats have caught on. If I don't get to sit in that row, the usher sometimes misses seeing me. But if he or she does, they turn the lights off.

But anyway, though I don't get to see 3D or IMAX, and they took awhile to go digital, I enjoy the perks. So those that don't know the owners well, I remember how it was.

Oh, it did take! I forgot! I tell the locals to sit for the end credits! A lot of them don't know. They are pleasantly surprised too. It makes me happy when I see so many converts staying seated at the next movie, now that they know. But by coincidence, some elderly people wait anyway, until the lights are on, and no one else is there, so they can walk slowly. Helping them up and out, counts towards my doing a good deed daily.

I thought the first two thirds of the movie were less than they could be although the last third really picked up.

I was referring to the proper Captain Marvel. Why would Black Adam kick her candy ass all over Philadelphia?

They broke into an ATM.

That's 30 years hard labour.

Amanda Waller is already trying to figure out how to get a bomb in Captain Sparkle Finger's skull.

Hello! Not to mention the, "Dr. Pepper", vending machine. The boys behaved as if they were winning a slot machine game. A lot of characters have done tgat. As for labor? Hmm. I seem to recall something somewhere, about how someone won the case argument, that people now only get confined in prison as punishment, rather than labor, because that was a form of slavery. So it was deemed cruel and unusual, or something. So now any labor done in prison, is a paid job, and in some cases, they learn a proper trade.

Mind you, that may have been from a work of fiction. But jail prisoners earn less than minimum wage, to pay for luxuries, not covered by the government. Ditto for prison convicts. I could go on, but that might invade privacy. Hmm.

But I like your point!

This is a nice film. Funny in parts, kid friendly. Not blown away by it but a nice way to burn time without darkness and brooding.

Hopefully Black Adam is in the next one so that he can kick Captain Marvel's candy ass all over Philadelphia.
From what I have read, Black Adam will have a solo film which is shooting next year and by the time they get around to facing off it will be in Shazam 3.
