I was waiting to see the cat pull the blanket up

I'm being smothered in new kittens today. I brought home three month old brother and sister last night (Bran and Arya), and they're the most affectionate little things ever.

You should have seen our Emma at the Petsmart where we found her seven years ago. The other cats were sloths, just laying there. But Emma was rubbing against the plastic, showing she was affectionate as hell.

I keep The Animal Humane Society's adoptable cats page open at all times and refresh it several times, daily. I love it when I see the various cats getting adopted, especially what they call "Forget Me Not"'s.

I want all of them, but there are a few at any given time that I'm tempted to go visit and possibly take home. The last time we did that, though, that particular cat wanted nothing to do with us. He just wanted to go back to his enclosure and be done with people. We also discovered that he really should go to a home without other cats.

Bran seems to like the taste of the soles of my feet ... and his tongue tickles like crazy.

Still better than his sister who likes using my feet as her scratching posts ...

My parents' old cat, Frankie, used to chew on my hair when he was a kitten. He'd climb up on top of my head and chew on the hair at the front of my head. It was cute.
