    Eric,

Once you've figured out and finished your D7, have you given thought to doing another tutorial series for it?

Also, I'm working my way through your Alan Sinclair-based Enterprise tutorials, jumping back and forth between that and modeling another fan favorite ship from a sci-fi series that might have a new film coming out this Xmas! I don't want to derail your Star Trek thread with Star Wars stuff, but hopefully there are a lot of Star Trek fans who are also Star Wars fans (like me).

    :)

Hello Irishman! Yes, I will be doing a tutorial series on the Klingon ship when I've figured out a few steps.

I'm not sure I follow with the rest, beyond your making a Star Wars model at the same time. Or are you asking me to do a Star Wars tutorial?

Oh, sorry for the confusion. After re-reading my post, I can only say that is the perfect example of fingers typing way behind the brain.

I meant to say that I am modeling the Millennium Falcon. Man, talk about Slow going! The level of detail is insane.

I'm VERY glad you are around! How are you, Scott? Thank you very much for the kind words in your comment! I really appreciate it!

I have been trembling just thinking about trying my hand at the D7. I will be watching your progress with interest. The flying cheese box of the TOS shuttle nearly killed me. Another shape that looks deceptively simple, until you try to actually make it in 3-D.

Well done! I've thought about doing the D-7. But this shows me how much better I need to get to try it.

You are FAR too kind, but I thank you. I'm getting another AMT Klingon model so I can study the underside of the main body. It should be here soon.

Just stumbled across this. Looks great so far. What are you using for references?

Thank you for the compliment, Tallguy! I'm using these blueprints, although they need some adjustments:
    https://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/book-of-klingon-plans.php
And photographs of the original model. I threw $20.00 or so on one of the reissues of the old AMT Klingon Model that I'm going to use for the lower body.
I'm ashamed at how hard I laughed at that! You guys are the greatest!

Work has literally taken every waking hour for the last month (defined as four weeks). I hope to get back to modeling very soon.

Oh I know how that is. I took an eleven-year break from this hobby and have been working on the same effing modeling subject since 2002. I am hardly in a position to say anything. ;)

Yep. Same here. Well, that and what work I *am* doing is mostly going into game assets for Second Life.
